Trevor Sands is a legend. #CLS is an incredible service to the disabled community. Their Bundaberg Ability Ball has way more electric 80's tunes, cuddles, and dorky dance moves than expected. That last part was possibly just Scott and I; but we're pretty grateful to have been there either way.(Raechelle Banno)
The Ability Ball is designed to bring the entire community together to celebrate people’s abilities. Our aim is to provide a genuinely inclusive opportunity for people to enjoy a night of food, dancing and entertainment, while promoting awareness and understanding of the valuable contribution people with disability make to our local community. The Ability Ball was first held in 2013 at the Brother's Sports Club, Bundaberg. It was promoted as an affordable opportunity for people with a disability to come together for a night of dancing and entertainment. The event was also open to families, carers, local service providers and the general public. The Ability Ball was well supported and hailed as an enormous success with over 200 guests and entertainment from Andrew Wishart, the 2012 X Factor Runner Up. (Community Lifestyle Support)
